Employment Candidates

For full-time employment, we will consider candidates with advanced degrees in EE and CS.

We will also consider candidates working on their advanced degrees for part-time positions.

Our area of emphasis is in VLSI chip design (circuits, logic, and some architecture, along with some back-end skills). Those with a desire and aptitude for writing CAD tools are a big plus.

Our ideal candidate is one who has a strong background in full-custom microprocessor design.

Highly motivated, bright, personable team players possessing some of the above skills and an expectation for learning new ones are strongly encouraged to apply.

Micro Magic, Inc. is a start-up company. We build, use and sell our own high-end CAD tools. Our installed base is growing and we enjoy a positive cash flow. Since we are entirely self-funded (no VC money) we offer generous stock options.

We are founded by engineers and believe that those who help build the company should reap the rewards. Most of our staff have Ph.D.'s from Stanford, Berkeley, and MIT along with several years of experience in either the high-speed VLSI or EDA industries

The people here are smart, and lots of fun to work with. We hope you can join us.
