Sunnyvale, California -- June 7, 1999 -- Micro Magic, Inc. (MMI) today announced the appointment of Dr. Richard C. Smith as senior technical advisor. Smith comes to MMI from Cadence Design Systems, Inc., where he was most recently a senior program manager in consulting services. At Cadence, he also served in software support management and as the program manager for the Texas Instruments account. Smith has held technical and management positions with Texas Instruments, National Semiconductor, and Hewlett-Packard.
